Everything blue, pretty shoes, and a molar.

Captain's Blog: Stardate 73983.6
Daddy took me to the park again on Wednesday. I love the park. I find an awesome blue slide that I could scoot down on my butt all by myself.

Did you notice my super cool new shoes? They're Sketchers. Real Sketchers like Mommy's and Grandma's. They are white and black with bits of pink and metallic silver on them, and velcro on the side so that that the closure all but disappears! Yeah. Super cool.

Daddy took me on an adventure to JC Penney's to buy them. I walked into the mall with Daddy holding my hand and we went to the shoe department where the sales ladies fawned over me and said how cute I was. I stood up and held up each of my feet one by one so that Daddy could put the shoes on me. Then I stood up and walked around a bit to try them out and model in them. I'm a lucky girl.

You can't tell from this picture, but I'm also wearing a new skirt. Its light blue and has Ariel from The Little Mermaid on it. She's on a plastic piece on the front of the skirt that lights up! It has little red flashly lights on it. I like to put the plastic part in the my mouth and chomp on it.

I'm getting a new molar! Is that how you spell that? Yep, my back right molar is coming in. Sometimes it hurts and I raise my shoulder to rest my jaw against it. Mommy puts Orajel on my gums and for once I don't fight her.

In Loving Memory of my GREAT Uncle John

In Loving Memory of my GREAT Uncle John (John Paul Bernat, Jr.)
January 16, 1952 - June 30, 2008

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.
Of happy memories that I leave behind when life is done.

We couldn't have said it any better...
We miss you and love you Uncle John. And wish you well.

If I could walk a mile..

I have been away for awhile and am glad to be back banging on the keyboard! Mommy broke the computer. Then she fixed it. Then she broke it. Then she fixed it and then went away for a week! Now its fixed and I can finally get back to my blog. What's a captain to do without her blog? How will she chronicle her adventures? Oh snap!

Here is a strikingly cute video of me trapesing around in Mommy's wedge heels...
